Woke up bright and early again and our first stop was in a small town called Augsburg. We visited a small community there that was originally built in the 16th century and was for lower income residents. The whole community was gated and the gates closed at 10 pm. We got to go inside one of the apartments and the church.
Then we set off for Cologne and right outside the city we stopped at a castle that sat on top of tall foot hill and over looked all the land near it.
Mercedes Museum was next on the list and that place was sweet! The floor plan of the museum is double helix and there are two different ways to go through the museum. One was chronologically and the other was by subject. I wish that we had more time there but due to the bad weather and the lack of speed of the bus we were a tad bit behind schedule.
